Here at Dentistry of Chattanooga, we love meeting new patients. Part of easing your concerns is explaining what you can expect from our practice. When you are new to our office, we put in the effort to provide you with a positive and comforting experience. Once you have been with us for a while, you can continue to expect the highest level of service. We focus on providing quality dental care, excellent customer service, and a relaxing environment to maintain a lasting patient relationships. We consider your first visit the start of a long-term relationship with you.

During your initial appointment, we will perform various tests to assess the condition of your oral health and to create a dental plan based on your unique, individual needs. We look forward to meeting you!

Dr. Vanessa Drake

Dr. Vanessa Drake earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Science at the University of Tennessee, College of Dentistry at Memphis in 2006. Dr. Drake is a member of the American Dental Association®, the Tennessee Dental Association, and the Chattanooga Area Dental Society. She is also a member of the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation and the Chattanooga Dental Implant Society and is trained in other advanced procedures such as Invisalign®. Dr. Drake has three children and enjoys being involved in her church. She is a native of Harrison, TN and has had the privilege of practicing dentistry in Chattanooga for several years.

Mandy Deane

I graduated from Chattanooga State in 1997 as a registered and certified dental assistant. I have worked as a registered dental assistant at Dentistry of Chattanooga for almost 20 years. I love our team and doctors. My greatest joy is the opportunity to provide excellent care and comfort to our patients. I am happily married and enjoy spending time with my husband and our five children. I have also worked part-time for a church nursery for over 20 years.

Shirley DeMatteo

I graduated from Chattanooga State in 1990 with a degree in dental hygiene. I am a native of Chattanooga and have lived here all my life. I have been happily married for over 25 years. I have two children, both boys. I love traveling and spending time with my family.
